As you might know, Dwayne Roloson was decided the goalie that made the best save of the last NHL season. Barely anybody voted but what the heck, I update anyways! If your interested, move your mouse to the right 5 inches and vote on the next tournament!

New logo idea?

I was just surfing the Internet when I found a logo that i thought would go good with the layout I have going here on this blog. I tweaked it a bit and in my opinion, it looks pretty cool, so if anybody actually reads this post, let me know what you think about this Power NHL logo idea.

We have a winner!

First off, thanks to everyone who voted. The first tournament has now ended. The results were close but Jordan Staal pulled it off by winning by one vote! Jordan Staal named Power NHL's "Best goal of the 2006/07 season". Congratulations! Also just a reminder that the next tourney will begin if not tomorrow, the next day. You will be voting on the best save made by NHL goaltenders in the 2006/07 season.

Round 2 is finally over, and I'm proud to say I got many votes this round! Its been about a week and now its finally time for the finals! Here are the results from Round 2 :

Afinogenov: 71% vs. Dumont: 29%

J.Staal: 67% vs. Havlat: 33%

So that means that later today we will have Maxim Afinogenov taking on Jordan Staal of the Penguins in a week long poll with the lone goal to of determining the best NHL goal of the 2006/07 season. Thanks for voting and check back later for the finals!

Upcoming Tournament

(The best NHL goal of the 2006/07 season).
